Terms of Service
Welcome to Bedtime. Bedtime is a service of Idea Liberation LLC ("Bedtime," "we," "us"), based in Orlando, Florida, that creates personalized, illustrated children's stories for your family. By creating an account or purchasing a story or subscription, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who can use Bedtime
Bedtime accounts are for adults. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to create an account. Children do not create accounts and are not asked to provide information to us: parents and guardians create the account, add the family details, and control everything in it. Stories are made for your children, but the account, the purchases, and the controls belong to you.
2. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity on your account. You may invite another parent or guardian to share your family account; anyone you invite can see and manage your family's stories, characters, and settings. Tell us promptly at hello@trybedtime.ai if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
3. Subscriptions, purchases, and billing
Bedtime offers weekly-cadence subscription plans (billed monthly or yearly) and one-time story purchases. Plan prices and what each plan includes are shown on our pricing page at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe; we don't store your full card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel, pause, or change your plan any time from your account settings; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
- One-time purchases (such as the $9 single story or an extra story added to a subscription) are charged once and do not change your subscription or its billing date.
- Unused weekly story allotments do not roll over unless the plan says otherwise. Purchased extra-story credits remain until used.
4. Your content and your stories
You own the photos and details you provide. You give us permission to use them solely to operate the service — for example, to create illustrated characters and stories for your family. Every story we deliver stays in your family's library for as long as your account is open; stories don't expire or lock. You may download, print, and share your stories for personal, non-commercial use. Sharing outside your account happens only when you choose to share.
You agree not to upload photos or details of people without their (or their parent's) permission, and not to request content that is unlawful or harmful.
5. How stories are made
Bedtime uses AI systems to write and illustrate stories, guided by the characters, preferences, and safety controls you set. AI-generated content can occasionally be imperfect. If a story arrives with a problem, contact us from the contact page and we'll make it right.
6. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service — including attempting to access other families' data, reverse-engineering the service, reselling stories commercially, or using Bedtime to generate content unrelated to your family's stories.
7. Ending service
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law. If we close your account without cause, we'll refund any prepaid amounts for service not yet delivered.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Bedtime is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
10. Changes to these Terms
If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and notify account holders by email before the changes take effect. Continuing to use Bedtime after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
